The app doesn’t have any other features, though. To mirror your phone’s screen, you have to download a separate app. 

Here’s how to use TV Cast for Fire TV:

Problems With Casting to Firestick. What to Do?

Firestick isn’t immune to errors. Below, we have listed some common problems you can encounter while casting to Firestick along with solutions to help resolve them:

  • 📌 Wi-Fi connectivity – check if your Wi-Fi is working and also ensure that your iPhone/iPad and Firestick are connected to the same network.
  • 📌 Disable VPN – if you are connected to a VPN server, your iPhone may not be able to detect your Firestick device. Make sure you disable the VPN connection before you begin casting videos.
  • 📌 Update your Firestick – to update your Firestick device, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for Updates. If there’s any update available, it’ll be automatically installed.
