Step 1: Get SyncMate Free Edition
Firstly, download and install free SyncMate for Mac. Then download and install free SyncMate Module for PC at your Windows computer.
Step 2: Connect PC to your Mac
First of all make sure both devices are connected to the same network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi). Next launch SyncMate and add Windows PC connection.
You can choose which account on Windows PC to sync with.

Step 3: What would you like to sync?
Free SyncMate allows syncing Contacts and Calendar events between your Mac and PC. So tick the boxes of the plugins you'd like to sync.

Step 4: Choose sync direction
You can sync your Mac and PC in three directions - Mac to PC (Mac data will be added to the existing PC entries), PC to Mac (PC data will be added to the existing Mac entries) and bi-directional - data will be mutually updated on both computers.
Step 5: Sync NOW!
Now you just have to press "Sync now" button to have your data updated on both computers!
Step 6: SyncMate Free vs SyncMate Expert
SyncMate Free allows syncing Contacts and Calendar between your PC and Mac. SyncMate Expert offers more.
With Expert Edition you can sync media files, To Do/Reminders, Safari bookmarks, Mail notes (OS X 10.7 or earlier ) and Entourage notes, Stickies and Folders (latter even in real time). AutoSync option is also available in Expert.
