Step 1: Get SyncMate Free Edition
Firstly, download and install SyncMate Free edition on your Mac.
Step 2: Connect mounted device to your Mac
Launch SyncMate and click "Add connection" button and choose mounted device in the SyncMate Wizard.

Step 3: What do you want to sync?
With free SyncMate you can sync Calendar entries and Contacts between your Mac and mounted device. Note, SyncMate will create a folder on device, where special sync files will be placed.

Step 4: Choose sync direction
There are three directions of syncing data between Mac and mounted storage devices - Mac to mounted device (Mac data will be added to the existing entries on mounted device), mounted device to Mac (mounted device data will be added to the existing Mac entries) and bi-directional - data will be mutually updated on both sides.
Folders can be synced in three directions, iTunes & Video and iPhoto can be synced in two directions only (mounted device to Mac and Mac to mounted device).
Step 5: Sync NOW!
The final step is synchronization itself. Just click "Sync now" button and your data will be updated on both devices!
Step 6: SyncMate Free vs SyncMate Expert
When using free SyncMate you can sync Contacts and Calendars on Mac and mounted storages.
