Step 1: Get SyncMate Free Edition
Please, download SyncMate Free edition and install it on your Mac.
Step 2: Connect PSP to your Mac
Switch your PSP to FlashDrive mode and plug it in USB port of your Mac. Wait a little before SyncMate detects your PSP, then press Finish button to exit the connecting step and go on with syncing.

Step 3: What would you like to sync?
With free SyncMate you can sync Contacts and Calendar events between your Mac and PSP. Please, tick the boxes of the plugins you are about to sync.

Step 4: Choose your sync direction
When syncing Mac and PSP, some data may be synced in one direction only (from Mac to Sony PSP). Those are Calendar, Address Book, Notes, To Do/Reminders and Stickies.
iTunes & Video and iPhoto can be synced in two directions: Mac to PSP (Mac data will be added to the existing PSP files) and PSP to Mac (PSP data will be added to the existing Mac files).
Files and folders can be synced in three directions: Mac to PSP (Mac data will be added to the existing PSP entries), PSP to Mac (PSP data will be added to the existing Mac entries) and bi-directional - data will be mutually updated on both computers.
Step 6: SyncMate Free vs SyncMate Expert
SyncMate Free allows syncing Contacts and Calendar from your Mac to PSP. SyncMate Expert offers additional features.
