Step 1: Get SyncMate Free Edition
Firstly, download and install SyncMate Free edition on your Mac.
Step 2: Connect your Mac and device
Launch SyncMate and choose which device you would like to sync your Mac with in SyncMate Device connection wizard. Also, please, choose how you would like to sync your device and Mac - SyncMate allows syncing devices via USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (depends on device).
Depending on type of connection you have chosen, follow the simple procedure to establish connection between Mac and device.

Step 3: What would you like to sync?
SyncMate Free Edition allows you syncing contacts and calendar entries between your Mac and supported devices. Choose one of these plugins or both of them by checking their boxes.
You can also read SMS messages on your Mac with SyncMate Free Edition (Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, iPhones, Nokia S40 and Android devices) and analyze Windows mobile device details.

Step 4: Choose sync direction
SyncMate offers synchronization of Mac and supported device in three directions - Mac to device (Mac data will be added to the existing entries on your device), device to Mac (device's data will be added to the existing Mac entries) and bi-directional - data will be mutually updated on both sides.
Sync directions may differ depending on the device you are going to sync.
Step 5: Just sync!
We're almost there! :) Now just click "Sync now" button to have your data updated on both sides.
Step 6: SyncMate Free vs SyncMate Expert
When using free SyncMate you can sync Contacts and Calendar in your device and Mac, read mobile phone's messages on your Mac (SMS Reader plugin, offered for Windows Mobile and Nokia S40 devices) and view detailed info about connected Windows Mobile device.
