Sync iPhone with Windows Mobile or Android devices, iPod or iPad, Windows computers, Dropbox or Google accounts, Sony PSP and other supported devices via Mac (iPhone => Mac => any supported device).

Step 1: Get SyncMate Free edition.

Download and install SyncMate Free edition on your Mac. SyncMate is compatible with iOS 3.x - iOS 6.x iPhones, but we advise to test SyncMate Free edition prior to upgrading to Expert.

Step 4: Choose sync direction

SyncMate offers synchronization of Mac and iPhone in three directions - Mac to iPhone (Mac data will be added to the existing entries on your iPhone), iPhone to Mac (iPhone data will be added to the existing Mac entries) and bi-directional - data will be mutually updated on both sides.

Address Book, iCal, Safari bookmarks, Entourage and Mail notes (OS X 10.7 or earlier ), Stickies and folders can be synced in three directions. iTunes & Video* and iPhoto* can be synced in one direction only (iPhone to Mac).

Step 5. Let it sync!

The next step is actually syncing. Now just click "Sync now" button to have your data updated on both sides.

When using free SyncMate you can sync Contacts and Calendars in your iPhone and Mac. You can also view your SMS messages directly on Mac.

To switch your mobile device to USB flash drive mode please follow:

Start -> Settings -> Connection Mode (USB) -> (there will be 2 options to select: "Active Sync" and "Removable disk") check "Removable disk".
